Transformative African Development Initiative (TADI)

The rapid growth of the labour force implied by Africa’s demographic transition will pose serious challenges.

Youth unemployment is on the rise in Africa, and it is accompanied by significant economic challenges that limit economic growth. Kenya has one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world, at 65 percent.

Three out of every five unemployed Kenyans are between the ages of 15 and 35. A diminishing economy, a lack of adequate skills in a changing technology world, political instability, and widespread income disparity exacerbate the situation.

Young people graduating lack access to technical skills and meaningful employment, leaving them with little hope for a better future for themselves and their communities.

TADI works with local communities, youth, and women to catalyze change in Africa in partnership with businesses, investors and government.

  1. We pay close attention to people’s stories r history, your goals for the future, your immediate needs and your challenges.

  3. We tailor our services to your organization’s needs and goals, documenting our recommendations with clear and achievable objectives for each portion of the engagement.

  1. We utilize a proven project management methodology and develop a comprehensive operational toolkit that defines resources, roles and deliverables; sets expectations and realistic timeframes to achieve the desired outcomes; and establish metrics to evaluate performance.
  2. We develop a communication plan that includes all stakeholders, defining our meeting and report structure.
  3. We assess risks and develop mitigation strategies that are reviewed continuously to avoid costly errors and support rapid corrective action.
  4. Then, we roll up our sleeves, establish project governance, assign resources and timelines to each task, and ensure transparency throughout.
